Jim Corbit is the Vice President of Air Consulting and Engineering Solutions in Houston, Texas. He has over 15 years of experience as an environmental consultant conducting and managing air quality services and environmental regulatory support projects for the chemical, refining, power, and pipeline industries. In this capacity, Mr. Corbit has gained extensive experience with state and federal air quality regulations and with the Texas New Source Review permitting process. His work has also included preparing Maintenance, Startup, and Shutdown (MSS) Permit applications, New Source Review and Title V Operating Permit applications, conducting compliance audits, conducting regulatory compliance training, preparing air emission inventories, preparing a wide range of reports to regulatory agencies, overseeing compliance testing procedures, and providing compliance assistance with a wide range of state and federal regulations. He led the development of a unique MSS activity emissions estimation and tracking system.
